SunRidge Canyon Golf Club
This Keith Foster-designed golf course unfolds around some of the most picturesque Sonoran desert scenery found in the Valley of the Sun. The golf course gradually descends on the way out before doubling back to climb up the slope on the way in. This subtle elevation change lies at the heart of the dramatic golf experience at SunRidge Canyon, a course seemingly carved out of the relentless pressure of wind and water. It is unlike any other desert golf experience in Scottsdale. It is also home to the Wicked 6, a devilish half-dozen holes that tend to force golfers to tap out. Made up of holes 13-16, the Wicked 6 plays uphill and generally into the prevailing breeze. Couple this with the fact that the holes would play moderate to long even if they were on level ground, and it’s easy to see why the Wicked 6 earned its menacing moniker.
