Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba Classes and More

The Club at CopperWynd offers over 35 fitness and aerobics classes weekly. Members are able to relieve stress and improve flexibility with a hot yoga class, tone their muscles by attending Pilates, relax with the slow graceful movements of Tai Chi, and get energized by the excitement of Zumba every single week.

ACCELERATED CORE

A combination of Pilates, yoga and traditional sport training exercises are used to improve abdominal, back and stabilizing muscle strength.

AQUA CLASSES

Shallow water class utilizing pool toys for added buoyancy and flotation. Hydro-tone paddles and booties will be used to give you resistance in water for maximum muscle toning. A must for individuals needing to avoid impact on the joints. Pool temperature is kept at a comfortable level. Not designated as an Arthritis Class.

Advanced Aqua - 40 min. high-intensity aerobic conditioning.

BOSU FITNESS

This cross-training class will incorporate cardio, strength, endurance and core training using the BOSU with a major focus on balance training. Space is limited, please arrive early.

Get FYT @ the FTC Functional Training Center

Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you GET FYT at CopperWynd's outdoor Functional Training Center. This class focuses on functional movement, exercises that improve the natural movement of the body. Every class/exercise is scalable and appropriate for all fitness levels. Pylometrics, body weight exercises, and functional training are incorporated in the class.  

GYM FLOOR CIRCUIT TRAINING

Work out in a small group setting using the gym floor equipment to build muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility.  Circuit training can burn up to 30 percent more calories than a typical weight workout and offers cardiovascular benefits.  

HIIT HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING

Alternate between bursts of intense activity and fixed periods of low-intensity activity. Increase calorie burn, cardio endurance, muscle mass and metabolism. Every class/exercise is scalable and appropriate for all fitness levels.  Pylometrics, body weight exercises, and functional training are incorporated into the class.

MAT PILATES/PILATES DEEP STRETCH

This class consists of a series of controlled exercises that engage the mind and body to develop strong, flexible muscles, without bulk, improve posture and enhance mental awaremess.

Pilates Deep Stretch utilizes traditional Pilates exercises focusing on the stretching aspects. Stretches are deep and held for an extended period of time to ensure each participant benefits from the muscular release and improved joint range of motion. Great class for everyone!

Pilates Pump Combination of traditional weight lifting techniques with mat Pilates exercises. Class emphasizes improving overall muscular strength and flexibility. Fitness shoes are required to safety purposes.

PILATES FUSION BARRE

A combination of Barre and Pilates techniques to  effectively strengthen, tone and balance the entire body. A challenging no-impact class with a focus on form and precision.

SPINNINGĀ®

An indoor cycling class using various energy zones. It's the fastest way to get in shape! We recommend cycling shoes, padded bike shorts & heart rate monitors.

TAI CHI

A Chinese martial art that combines diaphragmatic breathing and relaxation with slow, graceful and gentle movement.

TOTAL BODY CHALLENGE

A fun and exciting cardiovascular workout incorporating interval training. Combines weights and cardio. A great way to get your body moving!

YOGA

Yoga Barre  incorporating traditional Yoga poses and the ballet barre.  The barre gives the participant stability to allow for deeper stretching and strength movements.

Power Flow Yoga links together the movement and breath of the yoga poses. One pose flows into the next cultivating balance, strength, flexibility and endurance. A fitness-based approach with less emphasis on detailed instruction for intermediate and advanced students.  

Therapeutic Yoga Based on therapeutic exercises for the neck, shoulders, lower back, knees and other physical issues to fine tune one's ability to move gracefully and efficiently. The end result is deep relaxation.

Gentle Yoga A 45-minute practice for the neck and shoulders, followed by a 45-minute class for the lower back and hips.

Meditation For 10 minutes, students will explore the use of sound to lengthen the breath and quiet the mind. The remainder of the class will be a seated or supine experience of silence and mindfulness.

Iyengar Yoga In this 75-minute yoga class, Iyengar yoga principles are applied to focus on alignment and posture.

Vinyasa to Vino  Start with a feel-good, all-levels Vinyasa Yoga session which links your body's movement to breath. The session flows into the Vino Happy Hour in the Fitness Lobby. Please sign up at the front desk. *Special fee

Community Yoga Event  A free class, open to the public. The class isheld on the Event Lawn. Donations are accepted for a local nonprofit organization.

Yoga Nidra  A guided meditation technique that allows the body and mind to deeply relax. This technique is received lying down, which brings you into a relaxed state, allowing he body to restore itself. Joined with vibrational healing sounds of the alchemy and quartz singing bowls, you will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Please arrive on time. No one will be admitted after class begins.

YOGALATES

The best of Yoga and Pilates combined in one 60-minute class.

ZUMBA

The feel happy workout. ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

All Levels ZUMBA is great for beginners. Class is performed focusing on low impact dance movements.
